Anyone heard if the spring game is a go even if the weather if shitty? Not suppose to be pretty tomorrow.

Just listened to the Cougar Center podcast with Jan. They asked him who he thought was the most impressive of the newcomers. He said he's been very impressed with Fandango and Kav and thinks they'll help the D quite a bit, but the most impressive to him so far is Hadley. Said he's done a great job at corner and can play some safety and will definitely see the field. Also mentioned that he knows Bronco has been impressed by him.

Other than that they talked about the new coaches and Jan said he really likes them and thinks they are all very positive and all the more negative personalities have been removed from the staff.

I think Fangupo is the transfer that is going to have the bigger impact. Given the injuries to Fuga and Richardson, BYU was going to have to go with a heavier Manu and a RS Freshman Tuiloma at NT. With Fangupo's transfer BYU can let Manu play at 270 and the the entire DL went from average to potentially very, very good. While Uona is going to be a hard nipple making rockstar, the reality is his backups are also pretty decent ILBs. The difference in the entire defensive capability with versus without Fangupo is bigger, IMO, than the difference in the entire defense with versus without Uona.

But when one gets things that are really, really big it always better if they come in twos!

Chambers, baby. The Redemption of Chambers! I think he will be too big for SS. Right now, according to the cdc growth charts, he is on schedule to be 6'8", 250 pounds.

Make sure he understands that in Rose/Austin Ainge's system the 4 has to have range and as good looking as he is make sure he knows how to keep certain uhhhhhhh activities out of the public eye! My heart could not handle another legitimate Final 4 opportunity torn from me. I just couldn't take it.

He is still stinging from the multiple homeruns I pounded, haha get it homeruns pounded, out against his ward in the 1989 Ventura Regional Softball Championships. Luckily he was tunnel singing when I went all Andre Miller against his ward in the 1990 Ventura Regional Hoop Championships...until his ward's legendary coach screwed us!

I'll let you know in 10 years. As of right now he is 54" tall and weighs 80 pounds. He has a ways to go to fall back. His bio was 6"7".
