I don't know why we wouldn't keep Hoffman back there. His return numbers have been pretty solid. He doesn't seem like the returner type, but he's performed.Originally posted by camleish View Posthave you heard about whether or not drew is going to be our return guy? i would be ok with jd falslev and drew phillips deep.
I am also very cautiously optimistic about Drew Phillips. He seems to be a stud in the making.

I think it may be Hoffman and Phillips with Falslev handling the punts.Originally posted by Sizzle View PostI don't know why we wouldn't keep Hoffman back there. His return numbers have been pretty solid. He doesn't seem like the returner type, but he's performed.

Phillips is a legit 4.4 guy from what I am hearing with good return skills so he may be the game breaker we need. While Hoffman is probably a 4.6 guy but he has great vision and hits the hole with authority. They will compliment each other nicely.*Banned*

I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

If he does... man-- he should take a redshirt this year, too, and learn to play Free Safety...Originally posted by Hot Lunch View PostI think Riley could have a good chance of getting one. He hasn't used his redshirt yet. If he had, I would say the chances weren't good because of the mission."I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando / Your man don't want it, Trump's a bitch! The Medical RS he would get this year is his RS. The only way he gets another is if he gets injured again and misses a year. You can't take a medical RS and then a normal RS on top of that. In fact if you take a RS, while being healthy, and then get injured for a year after that RS you are not supposed to be awarded a medical RS for the injured season. The only time you get two RS years is if you are injured in both of those years, similar to what Vic So'oto got for 2006 and 2008.Originally posted by Commando View PostIf he does... man-- he should take a redshirt this year, too, and learn to play Free Safety...Do Your Damnedest In An Ostentatious Manner All The Time!

He wouldn't get both. The medical redshirt would count as his redshirt and he would get that for this past season because he only played in 3 games. He wouldn't get a redshirt this year then be able to sit out next season to learn how to play safety. It doesn't work that way.Originally posted by Commando View PostIf he does... man-- he should take a redshirt this year, too, and learn to play Free Safety..."Take it to the Bank"

Unless while playing this year as a FS he is actually sitting out as he develops that "rib" injury that Marty Johnson had in 2001. Ah, it is sort of like the dislocated finger of Apo that just happened to keep him out all year after the first game. No way could have have come back. Those doctors should missed the diagnosis when they said 4-6 weeks when it happened. Doctors make mistakes all the time.Originally posted by Goatnapper'96 View PostUnless while playing this year as a FS he is actually sitting out as he develops that "rib" injury that Marty Johnson had in 2001. I heard that finger was a bit more than dislocated, though.
