Dude, I am starting to worry about your vulgarity.

I know, the "C" word is one of the worst.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.
Dig your own grave, and save!

"I know that you are one of the cool and 'edgy' BYU fans" -- Wally
Seriously, Sunday travel isn't an issue now. Why would it be an issue if they were to join the B12? That's just crazy talk. When do they travel for Monday games? Especially on the back of a Saturday game? Is there no travel on Sunday in those instances?
Just assure BYU that there will be no games on Sunday, tell them when and where the games are, and let them figure out how to get there on time. How does travel even play a role in this? Do the current teams BYU plays tell BYU when they have to travel? Did someone hear about that Reno game with the same day in/out and they have concerns about BYU's ability to make travel plan so they've added that to the negotiations?
The fact that this WV dude and/or his contacts thinks there is even a remote possibility that BYU would negotiate about Sunday play tells me he is completely clueless.
Agreed
BYU often travels on Sunday and has done so dating back to the old WAC with football games late Saturday night in Honolulu then catching a commercial flight home on Sunday. The Dude of WV is a moron.

BYU has also played on Sunday, when an occasional late BB game went OT. I recall feeling very unclean as the game dragged into Shabbat, but was cleansed when the Cougs pulled out the win.

I like the extra incentive to win in order to keep the Sabbath Day holy. Maybe Sunday play would not be so bad after all.
If they invite Houston, they deserve whatever happens to their conference. Houston and Memphis are two names I hear that honestly make zero sense at all to me. Those two would be horrible additions given their markets, fanbase, and overall tradition. Especially with teams like BYU, Cincy, UCF, and Boise there.

Clearly BYU is on a different level than Memphis, we don't need to post YouTube's of the fight.
If this is a backhanded insult of BYU then you can S a D! If not then nevermind.
I've come full circle on the Memphis fight. If you're going to brawl, you go all out. I don't care if you are throwing sucker punches.
I'm still mad about icing the PAT however.
"Sure, I fought. I had to fight all my life just to survive. They were all against me. Tried every dirty trick to cut me down, but I beat the bastards and left them in the ditch."

Those two incidents were a nice reminder going into the offseason that BYU is super undisciplined and plays with a relatively low football IQ. It's not a new problem, but the Memphis game was a grand demonstration.
Adding more members has always been presumed to reduce per-team payouts in the Big 12. But Boren and Bowlsby said the league's television contracts - which provide about 55 percent of the total revenue for the conference - would not reduce per-school payments with expansion and actually could grow. It's not a stretch to deem schools like BYU, Central Florida or Boise State as being more competitive in football than Big 12 schools like Iowa State and Kansas. And that's not considering how much those programs could grow because of the added exposure and money of making a move to a power conference.
Tim Griffin ranks potential Big 12 targets if the conference were to consider expansion: 1. BYU: Traditional football, basketball power. 2. Central Florida: Opens up Florida for recruiting, TV. 3. Cincinnati: A foothold in the Midwest. 4. Connecticut: Basketball power, East Coast TV. 5. Boise State: Small TV market. 6. Houston: Big 12 shunned Cougars before. 7. South Florida: Ranks behind Central Florida in Sunshine State. 8. Memphis: Football lags behind basketball. 9. New Mexico: Too big a step up.
