If that isn't a clear indication that BYU fucked it up, I don't know what is.

Oh wait! BYU already has an invite and laying low until the dust of Mizzou and WVU/UofL settles... Yeah, that's it!
Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

I'd just give up posting on CUF altogether if I were you.

Technically it would be impossible to be in a foxhole with atheistcougar, what with the 'no atheists in foxholes' thing. He'd either have to change his moniker or stay out all together.

Actually, he said it didn't make sense to hate the school. He said I could cheer for other teams, though, so I wanted the clarification.

I smell a senate hearing coming on. The Big 12 better just give BYU what they want.

Answer this question and I'll answer yours - is it OK to hate Utah football and basketball if I am an active Mormon?

We spend a lot of time joking around on the board, and I admit that I enjoy watching people get all spun up - and I've probably gotten spun up a time or two myself.

But if we move beyond the humor and smack talk and get serious, what do you think the answer is to both of those questions?

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

No. It's a very bad thing to do what you're describing. Very, very bad.

Hate is never a good thing, but if where just talking about disliking your favorite team's rival I'm betting we would be okay.

Now it's getting fun. And they say BYU was tough to deal with.

How's the rejoinder for that one go? "No atheists in foxholes" isn't an argument against atheists, its an argument against foxholes. Something like that...
