I love how the resident WNBA beat writer has completely refuted a NY Times article with no facts and with no substantive argument. The NY Times isn't the paper of record, Top WNBA hack establishes the record. Do you really refute the larger point of the article? Do you really think they've grossly misrepresented things relating to the relative support of most of the teams.

All you've really established is that you're clueless regarding statistics and that you didn't know most of New Jersey was in the New York market.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

What would be hilarious is if the SEC adds TCU instead of Texas A&M, the Big 12 adds BYU and kicks out A&M.

I do not understand why people are taking shots at Top Ute for his job? Seems petty and immature. Leave the personal shots out of arguments.

Anyone who uses a story where the primary data source lists is own data as "highly inaccurate" as gospel needs their head checked. And a quick read of the comments reveals several no-brainer claims as to how many of the results of this survey shouldn't be taken seriously.

I agree. That kind of personal attack should have no place here.

Split evenly with all the schools or paid directly to the LHN?

Either way no school in the Big 12 would be worse off than the utes this year....

That only hurts because it's true, although I've heard that Utah gets its share of tv money.

In all honesty, right now I'd prefer the PAC because of stability. However, if the Big 12 holds long-term, it is better for BYU (culturally) and me. I really hope it happens and both schools are better off than they were a year ago.

So is the contest over? Who won? If it's still going I've had 5 bottled waters tonight and really would like to show what I am capable of.

Agreed. And as DDD pointed out, it would be fun to have a PAC12/Big12 rivalry in such close proximity along the Wasatch Front.
