Why was Harmon on the show? I can't imagine that whoever covers Utah wouldn't have gone on.
They probably called DesNews and asked who could come on the show.
"The first thing I learned upon becoming a head coach after fifteen years as an assistant was the enormous difference between making a suggestion and making a decision."
"They talk about the economy this year. Hey, my hairline is in recession, my waistline is in inflation. Altogether, I'm in a depression."
"I like to bike. I could beat Lance Armstrong, only because he couldn't pass me if he was behind me."

Everyone else was busy actually covering the event.
"They're good. They've always been good" - David Shaw.
Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.
Also, Desmond Howard is kind of an idiot. Notre Dame? Really? Really Desmond?
I saw the whole segment this morning, and he was responding to Chris Spielman who, before Desmond, said that the MWC needs to invite someone with some cachet, "someone like Notre Dame".
I'm trying to decide if I have ever heard a more idiotic statement from a paid sports commentator then "The MWC should invite Notre Dame to join the conference." Are they just mocking the MWC?
Utah’s independent news source since 1871, The Salt Lake Tribune covers news, entertainment, sports and faith for Salt Lake City and the state of Utah. (SLT)

And surprisingly well-written. I also agree 100%. I like that he didn't agree with Cougar fan's claims of religious discrimination but instead chose to focus on why Utah is simply a better fit and just as deserving from an athletic sta dpoint. I honestly found it to be a mildly cathartic read. Well done, Gordon.
"Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault
"Once I seen the trades go down and the other guys signed elsewhere," he said, "I knew it was my time now." - Derrick Favors
Glad to see you're coming around. I always knew you would.
Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock
