The downside of getting into the Big 12 will be my ticket costs will rise and my seats will get worse. A lot of friends and family of BYU (GA's and extended families) will want good seats.

I am pretty sure we are in. I have been reading CB lately and have been persuaded we are as awesome as the blue google folks think we are. TCU, to a BCS game, Utah to a BCS game twice, BSU to two BCS games and even Hawaii were all flukes.

It is a major fluke that the real powerhouse in the mid-majors hasn't been to one yet.

Somebody explain Air Force to me. I don't get it. If there's a school with almost no following it's Air Force. Do Coloradoans consider Air Force a Colorado school? They should take New Mexico.

Trust me, being a family member of a GA doesn't come with any kind of seat benefit at BYU - not unless the GA is a senior member of the 12 but that's a pretty exclusive club. Children of ordinary GAs have to cough up their $1000 bucks a year to be a Golden Cougar just like every other fan.
