It is just a shame that Utah's biggest moments occurred outside the Huntsman Center in the NCAA tournament. If you guys want to have the best shot in the Huntsman Center be a meaningless half-court shot against a shitty team, so be it.
The difference is that Miller as a borderline All Star had some decent trade value during the prime of his career.
I am really surprised to find that you didn't make a statement to the effect of "no person has ever had the trade value of Miller. No person ever." That seems more your style.
Freshman year: Sweet 16
Sophomore year: Elite 8
Junior year: Championship game. This also included a dominant performance in the elite 8 against the defending national champion
Senior year: Loss in the 2nd round. Dre got injured and Utah ran into a buzz saw in the 2nd round. Miami (Ohio) had a coach that decided he wanted to emulate the Ute program and had his team watching tape of Utah for years. It was the only time in Majerus career where the other team scouted better than him.
Where the hell is Grace? What does college performance have to do with a players value? I'm honestly just starting to think MG was attacking me personally and not defending a point he believed with every fiber of his being.

He must be really busy. He should have appeared hours ago to make comments about Andre Miller being one of the 5 athletes that I watch.

im still trying to wrap my ahead around the notion that no current player in the game today knows as much about basketball as Andre Miller.
Not this guy:
Not this guy:
But THIS guy:
Ha. Funny
I wonder why funk never compare Miller to Ainge.
Never mind. I know the answer.

I'm not even entirely convinced it is the greatest shot, but I'll let you guys have your meaningless half-court shot against a shitty team. I'm sure that will ease the sting of Fredette never doing anything big in the NCAA tournament and his failing NBA career.
I'm not sure it was either. I would be inclined to go with Robbie Reid's game winner in 1994.
The answer could also be that Ainge was an actual all-star instead of a borderline all-star.

And a two-time champ with the Celtics plus a few other appearances in the finals. And took the Blazers to the finals.
And nba champ and exec-of-the-year with the Celtics in 2008. That took some brains!

So where is this post in which funk says that Miller is the smartest player in the NBA? I can't believe I missed that one.

1) Jimmer half-court buzzer beater was the greatest shot in the history of the Dumpsman.
2) Ainge >>> Miller
It has been a productive day!

Didn't know Harrison Barnes and McDermott played on the same HS team. McDermott was a *** recruit and Barnes was the consensus #1 player in the country. At this point it's very possible McDermott ends up the better NBA player.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

My brother and I were just talking about this today over lunch. He's a huge UNC fan. I guess they played each other in the 2012 tourny when McDermott was a true frosh -- the game where Kendall Marshall broke his hand. Yes, THAT game.
