  • Unreal winning the last three games they had no business winning given the way they fell behind. Absolutely unreal.

Plus Al at least gives an effort to challenge shots on the defensive end. He can play 5 and not hurt you. I think he will get there and the Jazz will be in great shape when he does. For the meantime, Sap is doing a fantastic job putting in work and driving the ship. If Jefferson can figure it out and Memo can adjust when he comes back, this team could be pretty good. Especially if they can figure out how to play 48 minutes instead of the last 24.

I'll be ok if they keep playing every last 24 the way they've been doing.

          • I'm sure Elias Sports Bureau will have something to say about the 3 Jazz comebacks in a row. Here is what they said after the Heat win last night.

JAZZ STUN LEBRON AND THE HEAT

From Elias: The Jazz overcame a 21-point deficit in the second half to stun the Heat in overtime in Miami on Tuesday night. It is only the eighth time since the start of the 2004-05 season that an NBA team, playing on the road, has overcome a second-half deficit of more than 20 points to win. The Jazz has accounted for four of those eight wins, having previously overcome such deficits to win at Sacramento (2006), Atlanta (2006) and Portland (February 21 of this year).

It is also the first time that LeBron James has ever appeared in a game in which his team relinquished a 20+ point lead in the second half and came out on the losing end. James' teams were 115-0 in that situation prior to last night.

                      • I've missed the last three games. Maybe I shouldn't watch another game the rest of the year.

Typical Laker fan. BTW, did Laker fans even exist in the 90's (besides Jack Nicholson and Dyan Cannon of course)?

We did. And we were proud still despite suffering through Randy rePfund and Dull Harris. Besides who couldn't get excited about watching teams with Sedale Threatt, Pig Miller, AP, Havasu Ceballos, George Lynch, and Cory Blount. That team made the playoffs. Ceballos was an AS one year too.

It is a fairly silly question. The Lakers went to the Finals in the 90s, Jackson came to the Lakers in 1999. And in 1998, the Lakers were the first, and still only team to have 4 players on the All-Star team running the floor together at the same time (Shaq, Kobe, Eddie, Quick). The All-Star game was basically the Lakers vs the Eastern Conference. Sweet!
