IT is crazy to me that Lucas is even playing in the NBA he is soooooo bad. The new PG Greene? from the D league changed everything. Witha PG I think they can win 20 games now.

What was interesting to me was how Lucas didn't get off the bench in the second half. Burks started at point, played most of the 3rd quarter and helped them get back in the game, then Garrett played what seemed like most of the 4th. It'll be interesting watching the team when Trey gets back.

I would say Hornacek has been the most impressive so far. The improvement the Suns have made at the defensive end is shocking, and it's happened without stifling their players at the other end.

Jazz having trouble scoring in the 4th quarter, so in comes Lucas for Burks. Burks hasn't been very good, but when you need scoring, Lucas probably isn't the answer over Burks.

How about the coaching we saw in the 1st half? Garrett is playing point with Burks at the 2, but it is time for Burks to get a rest. So what guard lineup does Corbin put out there? Lucas and Garrett on the court together. Incredible. Compliment those two with Mike Harris and Marvin Williams? Absolute genius.

How 'bout Favors tonight? Guy showed more offensive moves in one night than he has in the rest of the games this year combined. Imagine if this guy had been able to get some game time experience the last couple of years? Too bad Utah didn't play any games last year I guess.

The Jazz got their first win of the season, a 111-105 victory over the Pelicans on Wednesday, but the team quickly returned to form the rest of the week. The game marked the only time this season the Jazz have scored more than 100 points.

Generating offense is obviously a major issue for the Jazz -- they rank 30th in the NBA in offensive efficiency, 29th in effective field goal percentage and 30th in true shooting percentage, and are shooting a miserable 27.6 percent from 3 and 41.3 percent from the field. If there's a ray of light, Gordon Hayward, Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter all look like keepers. If the Jazz could add Wiggins or Parker to this lineup, they'd be better in a hurry.

Probably 8 or 9. Ditto for any of the other top prospects in the 2013 NBA Draft. I'd take the first seven players in this draft over all of them.

The fact that the Jazz are so bad both offensively AND defensively leads me to think that they're staying there for the immediate future.

The only real question is how much Trey Burke will improve both rankings. I mean, given our current PG rotation where a D-Leaguer comes in and is so much better than anything else on the roster makes you wonder.
