Jazz GM Dennis Lindsey said organization might have had "different conversations with Mo Williams" had they not moved up to get Trey Burke.
Sounds like Mo is out, too.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Especially when players generally get a bump of several hundred thousand dollars if their team finishes with the best record, advances to the Finals, etc. That helps close that salary gap even a bit more.
        Then again, maybe not.

        • Well, Burke has at least been consistent with his shooting.

          • So I guess this playing above the rim? I wonder if he's even jumping.

Makes 3-4 to start, then misses his next 11. Somehow he's been even worse than MC-W (25% in his games).

That's going to be a loaded front court when Tomic and Jabari are added next year.

I like where your head is at.

                    • I'm going to be perfectly honest here: I am leaning towards renewing my season tickets this year, record be damned. I hope I can absorb both the financial and mental burden.

Sources continue to say the Jazz will use remaining cap space ($5mil) to take a contract and get a draft pick.

Once/if that happens, Jazz will then want a PG for vet minimum. John Lucas remains a likely option.

That would be complicated only if Jazz found a point guard via trade. Otherwise, strong signs that Lucas is the choice.

In meetings with other teams, John Lucas has indicated his preference is for Utah. Last week was told he had interest from 4 teams.
I'm pretty excited about John Lucas III. Apparently he still plays basketball.

                          lol.

Lucas III must have had a career game against the Jazz recently. You know, something like 7 pts, 4 assists and 2 TOs on 3-7 FGs.

Yeah probably, I had to look up his stats for last year with the Bulls:
5ppg, 2 assists (3:1 assist to turnover ratio) on 39% shooting, 37% from 3 land. Corbin's mouth is watering right now to get him on the court.
