Sounds like Mo is out, too.Jody Genessy @DJJazzyJody 37m
Jazz GM Dennis Lindsey said organization might have had "different conversations with Mo Williams" had they not moved up to get Trey Burke. So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Then again, maybe not.Originally posted by BGRTHNUMEGO View PostBillups has made $104 M in salary so far in his career. I know it is different for each guy, but I'm guessing he'd take $1.4 M from a contender rather than $3 M from a team that might only win 30 games. Especially when players generally get a bump of several hundred thousand dollars if their team finishes with the best record, advances to the Finals, etc. That helps close that salary gap even a bit more.

I'm going to be perfectly honest here: I am leaning towards renewing my season tickets this year, record be damned. I'm pretty excited about John Lucas III. Apparently he still plays basketball.Bill Oram @tribjazz
Sources continue to say the Jazz will use remaining cap space ($5mil) to take a contract and get a draft pick.
Bill Oram @tribjazz
Once/if that happens, Jazz will then want a PG for vet minimum. John Lucas remains a likely option.
Bill Oram @tribjazz
That would be complicated only if Jazz found a point guard via trade. Otherwise, strong signs that Lucas is the choice.

In meetings with other teams, John Lucas has indicated his preference is for Utah. Last week was told he had interest from 4 teams. So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Yeah probably, I had to look up his stats for last year with the Bulls:
5ppg, 2 assists (3:1 assist to turnover ratio) on 39% shooting, 37% from 3 land. Corbin's mouth is watering right now to get him on the court.
