I think kabongo has the quickness and length to be a good defender at the lead guard position, and of course has a pass-first/playmaker mentality. Feels like a good fit with the other four to me and I think that group of five could play great D with a different coach. He probably goes lotto with a full season but as it stands there's a good chance of getting him at 21.
I'm not sure he can shoot worth a shit, he's only 6'1", I don't have much confidence that he can run a team and make guys better, but at 21, I'm with you - what the hell? Take a chance.

One of these comments could be about Burke, and another about Mcw. Even in the top ten there definitely aren't any knockout points in this draft.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

        • ** Top priority: Our top priority is to be a consistent contender. So the best way to that, whether it’s quick and bold, or long and painful and patient, you know, we’ll figure out. But that’s the top priority. / We’re not collectively afraid if, that the best alternative is to go young, and be very patient with the flexibility that we built in. I’m not afraid of that. You know, if, in, so to speak, take a step back. If we need to do that, then we’ll do that.
There's been a rumor throughout the year that Lindsey is trying to sell KOC on this. Who knows if it's true, but I've never heard KOC make a statement like the one above.

What do you mean by next year? I'm saying the jazz have space this off season and that in the summer of 2014 favors and Hayward will get big raises.

I don't think he's ever come close to saying that.

Kid is seriously fast and throws some nice dimes. He had 18 pts, 6 assists in the game. Also measured at 6'2" (w/shoes) and 6'7.25" wingspan. Going to need to put some weight on that 168 lb frame.

                    Since the All-Star break …

                    Player A (age 21): 28 games, 25.4 MPG, 9.6 PPG, 8.5 RPG, 2.1 BPG, 49.3% FG
                    Player B (age 23): 26 games, 25.4 MPG, 10.0 PPG, 8.2 RPG, 1.4 BPG, 53.8% FG

Player A: Favors. Player B? Faried.

(You know where I'm going with this, right? Derrick Favors … UNDERRATED!)
Hayward also just missed the top 50
                    So in that same vein:

                    Player A: (age 23) 14.1 PPG, 29.2 MPG, PER: 16.81, .435 FG%,.415 3P%, .827 FT%, 3.1 Reb, 3.0 AST, .5 BLK, .8 STL, 1.7 PF, 1.7 TO
                    Player B: (age 23) 17.4 PPG, 37.6 MPG, PER: 16.84, .419 FG% .362 3P%, .807 FT%, 7.6 Reb, 4.1 AST, .6 BLK, 1.8 STL, 2.9 PF, 2.9 TO

Player A: Hayward. Player B? Paul George (who Simmons apparently has somewhere in his top 18 in trade value).

You know where I'm going with this, right? Gordon Hayward . . . . UNDERRATED!

                    • Phil Jackson wants to coach again! He apparently turned down Cleveland. He's waiting for the Jazz to give him a call.

                      Seriously, Corbin is horrible.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Yeah, but you had an advance copy of the quiz.

Only way he's coming to the Jazz is if Lebron comes first.

He did much more with the Lakers than D'Antoni has (the talent this year compared to last is about the same). I'm not saying he's the greatest coach ever, but I don't think he's half bad of a coach. He didn't even get a chance this year with the Lakers.

Also, Golden State beating Denver tonight isn't much of a surprise. Been thinking that GS will win this series in 6.
