that was awesome. Guys average triple doubles all the time, but those rebounds are tough.

Matty speaks the truth there. Favors needs a good PG right now, someone that can get him shots. So let's give him a guy who can barely stick in the NBA whose one decent skill is shooting. Yeah, get him a worthless chucker.

Hard for me to see the justification for Lucas getting time over Machado. Neither will do much in the NBA, but Machado has a better ceiling, and will certainly help with tankapalooza.

Wondering if I want to blow $200 on NBA Season Ticket to watch a John Lucas-led Jazz.

Any big is going to look tired when he plays hard on defense and his coach leaves him in for an entire quarter. The way Favors plays, he can't be the big expected to go 12 in a row each game.

This game is on Burks and to a lesser extent, Hayward. Burks shot 1-13. He makes three more shots for just 4-13 FGs and the Jazz win. All his shots were good shots that he has to make.

Gilbert with another preseason DNP. The guy that they traded up to get. The guy that Corbin and Lindsey have both talked about how impressive his improvement has been, first from combine time to the draft, and then from the draft workout to the start of fall camp.

So you've got a giant on your team, he's still very raw, but has shown big strides in less than one year, and you are tanking? Yeah, sit that kid all year for sure. Give Biedrins some more time, especially in the preseason.

I could almost understand it if it was the regular season and Corbin wanted to try to win games, though I doubt Biedrins help you more than Gobrrt would. But multiple DNPs in the preseason?

It makes no sense. Gobert should be playing. How, on a team like the Jazz have constructed, does a first round pick get multiple DNPs (or very close to it) in the pre-season? He's a first round pick for crying out loud. I guess the answer to my question is you make Tyrone Corbin your head coach, but still!
