When Kanter kicked it out to Burke on that first play I teared up a little. Watching a post player kick it back outside was such a rarity last season.

FIFY. Get used to feeling that way as this season moves along.

Buck stops at Corbin? Apparently Jazz management is fine with this.

Day to day lineups and playing time decisions are Corbin's. They are free to fire is his ass, and they might, but until then (especially during pre-season) those are the coach's decisions.

I seriously doubt they'd fire Corbin this season. No matter what he does.

Maybe I'm overestimating their loyalty and commitment to him.

Can't believe Hollins and Karl aren't coaching.

There's this rumor that's been floating around that Karl told Favors he wanted him to spend all offseason working on a single go-to move. And then when he had that mastered, he could start working on counter moves as he progressed. Favors told him that he'd rather just focus on a variety of moves.

I really hope this isn't true.

Didn't Favors address that in an interview? Said Malone kept hammering him to say what his go to move was. And all Favors would say is "Scoring is my go to move. Whatever it takes to score." Lame.

Why should Favors listen to the guy who's scored the 2nd most points in NBA history?

Did I see right that Burke broke a finger? Confirmed? Will he miss time? Anything?

The Jazz looked even worse than the score indicated. I think the core four with Burke, Lucas or Jefferson can do some good things in the league, but there were certain lineups out there tonight that just couldn't find shots.

Hoops hype reporting the Jazz are talking with the Bulls about a deal for Marquis Teague.
