  • Hurry, I need to see some lowlights or I might fall in love with Gobert.

    • That Neto pass at about 3:10 is something filthy.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Plays defense, grab some boards, make shots within 3-5 feet and hit some free throws could be a really valuable player for this team.

        • Trey didn't look that slow in those highlights to me. His feet did look a bit heavier than during the college season and his shot was flat, so he might just be a little worn out/not in game shape. I really like his feel in the PnR. He looks like CP3 in that he gets in them and doesn't look like he's in a rush; he's feeling out his own space, looking for the roll man, and keeping his eye on the baseline cutters. He also does that thing like CP3 where he keeps the guard on his hip or essentially blocks out on him while still dribbling to keep his space. Passing was good and kept his turnovers low -- just needs that shot to come back. And I'm sure it will. His shooting was too strong in college for it not to.

          • It is amazing how ridiculously excited I am for a 25 win team. The bench will be the killer during the season. I am excited to see these starters play.

Same. I don't remember the last time I was this excited to see the Jazz. I don't think I've ever been such a fan of the group of five starters as I am for this season. No expectations in terms of wins and losses, we get a chance to see what the four, and to a lesser extent Burke, are made of and the Jazz go into next offseason with a ton of flexibility to make moves in a strong draft and a strong FA class.

              • Hayward cited as one of the standouts during practice today for Team USA, along with Lillard, DeAndre Jordan, and Doug McDermott.

Lots of talk heading into this camp about Paul George and how much Colangelo and the coaches like him. I love that it sounds like Hayward was extremely active on defense today. I think his defense is underrated, and he is definitely a superior offensive player than George.

Seeing his name with DeAndre Jordan doesn't make me feel that good about the list.

I do love hearing that Hayward played well and again this will be invaluable as far as season preparation, but the chance he makes the team is nearly zero. Favors too. Very cool experience though.

On a side note, if he does become the team leader and the player everyone hopes he can be, can we call him The White Mamba or is that name already taken?

                      How about Doug McDermott? LOL.

Doug McDermott is a ridiculously good offensive player, not to mention a pretty good rebounder. Even playing with NBA players, I'm not surprised at all he stood out.

That's like your friends making fun of you because an ugly chick wants to hook up with you, forgetting you just made it w/the head cheerleader the night before.

I look at the list of players at the camp, and say Hayward stood out over George, Barnes, Beal, Parsons, Thompson, and the ugly chicks like Jordan, McDermott, and Kemba Walker.

Did you honestly just say that Hayward is a superior offensive player than Paul George? You can't mean that.

Really? You think a likely future second round pick can hang with NBA all-stars and quasi-stars? I assume McDermott had a nice experience, but there is no way he's on the same level as the other guys.
