It's where they come to die. Brevin Knight has a nice plot near the ESA.Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostThat would have made me insanely excited 2002-2004. No to trading Burks. No to trading for Ridnour. We already have a crappy PG that doesn't pass that well on our team.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostSaw this earlier. There was also some rumor that they've discussed a deal for Ridnour that includes Burks.
Pass. Will donate kidney for B12 membership.

I had completely forgotten that he finished his career in Utah.Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostIt's where they come to die. Brevin Knight has a nice plot near the ESA.
I like Rid and would take him as my backup point. If that could happen by just ditching Roger, then hell yeah. But I don't want to give up a 1st rounder for him at this point (this is his 4th straight year of consistently declining PER). And the lower 1st rounder is going to be that GSW pick. Could you imagine if that pick materialized into Rid? From almost being Harrison Barnes to 31 year old Luke Ridnour. What a kick in the nuts that would be.So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

The problem with the Jazz is that the two bigs they have that can score consistently (Al and Millsap) are terrible defensively. Al because he doesn't care and Millsap because he is limited in size and talent.Originally posted by CardiacCoug View PostBulls are 25th in the NBA in scoring at 93 points per game.
On pace to score 132 or so tonight.
The two best defenders (Favors and Kanter) are limited offensively.
You know that Paul and Al will never improve defensively but Favors and Kanter have shown flashes of what they can do on the offensive end. They both need 25-30 minutes a night and you sink or swim with them. You are not winning a championship and if you make the playoffs you are losing in round 1 anyways.*Banned*

Agreed, but Jazz ownership and management have been set on the short term in selling tickets and making the playoffs rather than building a championship contender.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostThe problem with the Jazz is that the two bigs they have that can score consistently (Al and Millsap) are terrible defensively. I think the Jazz are on a fine line between turning a profit.Originally posted by UtahJazzFan88 View PostAgreed, but Jazz ownership and management have been set on the short term in selling tickets and making the playoffs rather than building a championship contender.
I am not sure they can afford to plan for the future at the expense of missing out on the profits of a couple playoff games.
At least that's what their actions appear to say. Will donate kidney for B12 membership.

Oh how I would have loved to have Hamilton on this team in his prime."Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault
