  • That hook from Kanter was sick. Gonna be a great move to set up some of his counters.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

No need to pap smear the man's character.

          • They brought in Pryz just for the defensive assignment on Kanter. And he still beasts.

                • One of the things that I hate about Alec's game is his casual, almost CJ Miles-esque, attitude on the court. He could learn a thing or two from Demare Carroll.

                    • 13 pts, 7 rebs, 2 blks and 1 stl for Enes. That is an insanely productive 9 minutes.

                        • While Burks has done an admirable job at the point, it's maddening to watch him deal with, from a strategic standpoint, all the disadvantages of being a bigger player, but doesn't enjoy any of the advantages. He has to guard these quick little shits, bring the ball up against them, but doesn't have the opportunity to take advantage of his size with a simple post up.

                            • Bucks are the anti-Jazz. Absolutely no interior players but fast scoring point guards.

As I was watching last night I thought I needed to give Corbin some credit for making some new moves, like that big lineup and like Burks logging more consistent minutes at PG. But then I remembered that yet again, any good moves Corbin makes always seem to be forced by injury and not because he makes a smart decision on his own. So minimal props to you, "Coach".

But I do like how he's gone big with Millsap at the 3 mostly when Kanter and Favors are also on the court. It makes so much more sense to do it that way, than to have Jefferson also out there. The two best defensive bigs are together to help cover Millsap's deficiencies guarding quicker 3's, and not having a black hole ball stopper seems to help spacing and in getting Favors/Kanter on the offensive glass. I'd like to see what the Off Reb Rate is for that lineup.
