    • I heart Jerry Sloan's ghost. You make the football offseason bearable and for that, I thank you.

The Jazz are expected to sign point guard Blake Ahearn for the remainder of the season, The Salt Lake Tribune learned Thursday.
          I can see why.

Ahearn, 27, is averaging 1 point and 5 minutes in three games.
I refuse to believe there isn't a more qualified PG in the D-league avaiable to the Jazz even if he does nothing more than help the jazz practice 5 on 5 prior to a possible playoff game.

You may be right, but Ahearn's D-League stats this year were pretty fabulous:
            23.8 points per game
            5.1 assists
            47% shooting from field
            41% from 3
            96% from foul line
            1 steal per game

              Brilliant. Keep the insults coming.
Lol. You're as thick as a brick. The move to the top 3 is a lateral move. The Jazz go from 0 chance of getting the pick to 0 chance of getting the pick.

Would it help if I explained it in purple text or perhaps with pictures?

Hey, look who showed back up. School must have just let out.

That's the best you can do? I just embarrassed you and your basic math skills and your retort is to insinuate I'm younger than you.

I saw those on the day he was signed and have been shocked at how it has not translated at all (small sample size to be sure). Maybe he'll pull a Sundiata Gaines and secure 8th place on a last second shot.

                      You are embarrassing somebody.

Just to be clear, are you still standing by this, which has been proven false half a dozen times?

Why havent you attacked the 'false' newspaper article yet that proves you were and are wrong?

                        Seventh-worst record - 75.0% chance to keep the pick (4.3% for No. 1, 4.9% for No. 2, 5.8% for No. 3, 59.9% for No. 7), 25% chance at 8th or lower.

Those are great stats, but IIRC, he's had seasons in the past that are even better than that. He's always really struggled in the NBA, however.

You're as simple minded as donuthole.

First of all the article you linked is drawing their numbers from a different article, so perhaps you should link to the original content. Second of all, the sports writer, not a math guy, is simply adding up the odds of GS getting the the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd picks with the probability of staying at 7th and then saying the remainder is the probability of moving down. That's not good math.

I've shown the math multiple times, but you keep on believing a sports writer who uses a chart from wikipedia and some bad math to come up with some bad numbers. Moron.

Actually that is good math. If your options are A, B, C and you have X% chance at A and Y% at B, then the % chance for C is 100-A-B.
