Sure, we desperately need his talent but these guys already seem more relaxed and cohesive than in years past. Should be fun to watch them develop. My expectations as far as wins and losses hasn't changed but I now feel we've got a few very nice pieces in place for the future.

For only the second time in the past decade I will not be a season ticket holder this year, but I do look forward to watching them each and every game from the comfort of my home.
Someone has got to drain the fire hose on Burks, Favors, Hayward, and Kanter right now. They're liable to walk on the court with some belief and confidence. The future is doomed if those kids aren't pummeled into submission and despair.

Can't have that. They need to sit and wait their turn. Let's see what Raja can do.

Alec Burks told me today that he has bringing the ball up as the 1 in a lot of the offensive sets
Lots of positive reviews about his passing so far. Bell yesterday talked about how Burks can get into the lane pretty easily, but how it is his passing ability that makes that driving skill more useful. Corbin also pointed out how well Burks has been setting teammates up.

Those years as a PG appear to be paying off.

I have heard some good things about the way Keith McLeod has been playing for the Utah Jazz in camp

          • In '85 Mark Eaton averaged 10 points, 11 rebs, and 5.6 blocked shots per game. Damn.

So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

              Wow.

In 2011, the Jazz signed Josh Howard, according to Chris Brussard. I'm hoping this goes better than the Raja experiment, but I'm not hopeful.

              • Josh Howard has signed a 1 year deal with the Jazz. I'm cool with the signing now since it's only a year.

Kevin O'Connor on 1320. KOC hasn't said anything about how much he'll make.

Thanks. Probably (definitely) means the Jazz are severely overpaying him, but hey, I'm grateful they are only overpaying him for 1 year instead of, say, 3 years <cough.... Roger....cough>

                      • I'm totally fine if we overpay him for one season, if he sucks, we can trade him for a team wanting to get a guy for 1 year to get space for maybe a 2nd round pick or something. This is a nice gamble in my opinion.

I was just kind of surprised by it because I don't have any real recollection of watching Eaton play. Those numbers would get you 8-10mm a year in the current NBA.

                          • I've got a fact for you that is going to blow your mind. Josh Howard's career high in points came against the Jazz. I know, I didn't see that one coming either.

"Why did you sign John Amaechi?"
