I'm torn. I like the kids moxy but I think he's a bit of an unknown. You make this pick at 3 because you believe he can be your PG for years to come and I'm not sure if that's the case with him. I can't believe how odd this draft process has been for me as a fan. I can't imagine how it's been for Kevin and his team.

I've run the gambit on a lot of these players. Kanter has gone from Kosta Koufus to Mark Gasol and back again. Knight from Dee Brown to Ty Lawson. I'm ready for it to be over to be honest with you.

That's what I think. But the Jazz could take Mirotic at 18. He'll be in Europe for 3 years. The other advantage to the Jazz is you save about 5 million in salary during the rookie contract going from #3 to #6.
I still don't think the Jazz have much interest in so many young guys though.

Pretty much my thoughts exactly. When I think of Knight, the first player that comes to mind is Harris (though his upside is pretty greater as a shooter).

        • Jacob gets to be even more excited about Biyombo now if we can put the age questions to rest:

I'm not President Obama, I'm not gonna hold up my birth certificate in public to show to the world. But we show it to the teams who are looking at me, and we show them X-rays and passports and other documents that prove to them my age.

I think Jacob mentioned that already.

Should've looked on the date of the article to know he would have touched on it already.

I know I wouldn't have let a Brewer article sit for two days.

I hadn't seen that article. I had mentioned the bone age Xray and his solid assertion that he's 18 as DX had reported about a month ago. Didn't know he had a birth certificate and passport, or how reliable birth certificates are in Congo.

X rays don't predict age with a great degree of certainty. This isnt like count tree rings to get the age of a sequoia.

I laughed when I read about the bone scan. I can't imagine it proves anything useful.

                    • Am I off in thinking that Jonas' delayed move makes Kanter much more valuable to the Cavs at 4, and thus the more certain pick for Utah at 3?

                              Of course. They're sleeping.

                              • I have decided if we stay in the 3, knight and kemba would be my least desirable options, thus leaving kanter the most desirable by default. I hope the 3 for washingtons 6 and 18 go through though, and of course Williams dropping to us would be the best. Just not knight or kemba at 3. Knight would be great at 6.
