Why would I look like a moron if they match? I've never claimed they're not going to match.
Then why did you ask for a link moron?

I still can't believe you're so stupid that you can't see that the Jazz (O'Connor) have been waiting for Mathews to get an offer before making any other signing moves. I'm sorry I can't find a quote in the D-News from O'Connor that says as much to satisfy your feeble mind.
Get the sand out of your vag and stop being like that. The article you posted does not say what you think it says. Obviously the jazz have not committed to match any offer, as that puts them in about the worst negotiating position possible. And, it's far from out of line for gracie to ask for a link rather than your dimwitted assumption.

He is asking for a link where the Jazz said they are going to match any offer for Wes. That was your claim.

          Bye, bye, Mr Matthews.

          • I am a huge fan of wesley, but we have to let him go. Hopefully we can land a lottery pick, and convince d.will to stay with a max offer and the promise to rebuild around him. This has been the worst offseason in jazz history

            • I still believe last year was the worst. I went into last off-season fully expecting Boozer to be moved in a S&T with something of decent value coming in return, Korver to head out to another team, and for Okur to not get that horrific extension that they signed him to.

For everyone in this thread ripping the Jazz, this just proves Portland cares more about screwing another team over than winning. Congrats FailBlazers! You still have nothing inside, you now have 5 wing players and your PF plays like a wing and a 40 year old playing the point.

It isn't a claim, it's the truth. The Jazz will match this offer. Sloan wants the kid back and unless Greg steps in, he will get him back.

I can't believe they gave him more money than they offered Milsap. Funk, can you explain this one?

There has to be evidence for your claim that the jazz have announced they will match any offer. If that's your assumption or inferrence, label it as such.

So what you are saying is that is your opinion. Nothing has been put on the record to indicate that the Jazz will match any offer, and you even concede that there is a chance the Jazz don't match.

Isn't this much easier than getting in a pissing match with a nice guy like MG?

I may not be able to provide a link to satisfy that little man's ego, but the Jazz told Mathews to go out and get the best deal he could and they would match it. Brewer and Fess will get deals once Mathew's has been matched.

I'm telling you this is going to happen in a week unless the only person higher than KOC, ie Greg Miller, steps in and vetoes the deal.

I wasn't aware KOC made personnel decisions

Let me explain how the Jazz work in simple terms.

Jerry Sloan makes the personnel decisions. KOC does what Sloan wants.

KOC will work to match Mathews' offer based on Sloan's decision unless Greg steps in.

                              Easy enough for you?
