Ah shit. Well, ahem... we need to play DEFENSE with desperation-level effort on friday. Lots of bad rotations and sloppy coverage after getting hot from 3. You cannot get that hot and look up and only be up 5 points at the half. They need to put the perimeter on lock and let Rudy do his thing in the middle. I'm fine winning close trading 3s for 2s.Originally posted by Commando View Post
I like no Kawhi for the rest of this series. However, LA has dudes that will hit shots like Jackson. We need to play with desperation-level effort and dump on em tonight.

*if they can figure out how to not leave Gobert on an island on the perimeter

hear, hear. Too much switching around on the perimeter. Dudes left wide open because of our stellar 'help' defense. JAZZ IN 7 LET'S GO!!!Originally posted by Moliere View PostJazz in 7*

The Clippers just got hot at the right time and the Jazz got careless. Anytime Patrick Beverly is hitting consecutive threes on you it’s going to be a long night. The Jazz have a good core of people and they’ll be good for a while.

Well that was prophetic. We needed to rest Rudy for a quarter and just rush the ball off the perimeter until they switched it up... oh well.Originally posted by Moliere View PostJazz in 7*

I'll be surprised if Danny Ainge doesn't end up with the Jazz in some capacity. This offseason will be interesting to see if Ryan Smith is willing to be a luxury tax payer long term.Originally posted by Sizzle View PostDanny Ainge was spotted with Ryan Smith and Steve Starks this week in Utah.As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

Well with Dennis Lindsey stepping aside, that looks more and more likely. :/ Nothing against Danny-- just not sure what he can do for us that Dennis (you know- the guy that navigated the dark waters of the maw between the Sloan era and the Snyder era) couldn't.Originally posted by MartyFunkhouser View Post

I don't know either, except that Danny can at least say he led a team to a NBA championship.Originally posted by Commando View Post
