was almost comical watching that team try to generate shots without Mitchell out there. almost.

this is why Burks, in spite of his inconsistency, is still a valuable piece for this team - when he's available.

best part of the game last night though is when Boler and Thurl decided with about a minute left in the game (a game that was within a point with 4 minutes to play) that Mitchell's injury was serious enough to keep him out of the game. the fact these guys have convinced people to give them money to do that job is pretty incredible.

Well, based on how the teams are shaking out, I'm feeling ok about the jazz despite early bed shittings vs. the Grizzlies, Nuggets, and a nail-biter vs. the Kings, which is never good. Turns out the Grizzlies, Nuggets, and Kings are all playing very well. Donovan is finding his rhythm, too. Last night some of that fire came back thanks to a couple of timely posterizations.
