You are in no position to judge. Yours will be an unranked WCC team next year. This fourth seed you're gong to get will be your high water mark. Success is ephemeral as Andy Warhol noted, and BYU this season is a classic instance. Your best season in 50 years (unless you count Ainge's heriocs his senior season after BYU took 3d place in the WAC).

I'm not a student of his biography. How do you know he's a good coach? Does he have head coaching experience? If not, he's a potentially insipient Boylen, except Boylen's mentor was a lot more successful than Rice's.

Rice is much more involved as a coach than Boylen ever was. Rice calls the plays on the court for BYU and he coordinates the recruiting.

What does BYU's performance next year in the WCC have to do with my ability to judge? Logic fail.

Can someone help me out here, why then are Ute fans judging?

If the yewts were smart they would hire Judkins and be done with it. Guy is a great coach and knows how to recruit in Utah. I wonder if he'd even consider going back.

Besides that the BYU womens' teams the past 6 years have routinely had more balls than the Ute mens teams!

What other sterling recommendations do "TDS" fans have for us "yewts"?

Ok, BO, tell us what coaches with Div1 head coaching experience are waiting to hear from Chris Hill right now.

Our tradition and program is a lot more prestigious than yours, unless you limit your evidence to this week's polls, in which case I guess BYU would have a more prestigious tradition and program than UCLA. Just look at Utah's conference affiliation--"the mighty Pac 12".

BO, I must say that I am touched -- deeply touched -- by our BYU fan brothers' concern for our program and their helpful suggestions.

Then you should have no problem bringing Dave Rose over to the Utes. Good luck with that.

You were still wearing Underoos when Juddie was on The Hill. You just don't understand how good the guy is. Frankly I don't think you guys could get a better coach for your particular school.

Dave Rose, Blaine Taylor, Trent Johnson, Billy Gillespie, Randy Bennet and Mark Gottfried. All on speed dial and all dying to come to Utah. Look at their last two hires, er um the shadow of Majerus is finally gone and Utah is going to the Pac-12 you know and conference affiliation is the only thing that matters!

At least one has had conversations, over a danish I suppose, with the good Doctor Hill. You need to get your life back in reality, bucko!

Is an unranked WCC team really much different from an unranked PAC12 team? Does the rest of the world care about either?
