I watched the game on Saturday with both kids asleep. As a result, I couldn't make lots of noise. I contented myself with punching the couch, and standing up to do this:

If Colorado State sucks, then so do Nebraska and Colorado. The difference: BYU beat CSU twice and Texas lost to those teams. Idiot.

Without the 1-2 punch of Clemente AND Pullens, KState doesn't scare me. They haven't really found a way to replace Clemente's scoring and defense at the point.

K-State is not the same team they were last year. However, considering they have beat both Texas and Kansas now, they should be climbing into the 5 or 6 seed territory, if they have a good showing in the conference tournament. Psycho Martin has them peaking at the right time.

The loss of Clemente hurt especially early on, but they've had other guys step up later in the season. That's a team I wouldn't want any part of right now in an NCAA tournament game.

I think that BYU is going to have to play well to win from the round of 32 forward. However, if BYU plays well I think they can beat anyone. I do think that there is a small pool of teams that it would take BYU playing well and the other squad not having their best day for the Y to win, but I don't think BYU would see any of those teams until likely the Elite 8.

I think KSU is going to play itself into higher than an 8 seed.
