Pat of course sung Jimmer and BYU's praises. He said that people will poo-poo their schedule because they haven't played any of the traditional powers but when you look at it closely they have played some good teams. He trumped up the MWC as a conference and talked about how just two months ago a MWC school won the Rose Bowl and now another is #1 seed. He did say Painter was his COY. He's a popular choice along with Brey. Fisher was in the talk a bit, but no longer. I wonder why Rose doesn't get more credit? I am ok with Rose not being in COY talk. Let it all be on Jimmer. Saying that, I found last saturday's win over the Aztecs to be more fulfilling and part of that was the team effort. This conference was on the verge of greatness and had support.But if you think a team from a non-major conference shouldn't be awarded a No. 1 seed on general principle, then go ahead and say it. I understand your frustration. I have them also :-) ....
Nike has multiple divisions. We are in the Nike Team Sport Division. Products offered differ from division to division. Nike does not offer to us everything they offer to everyone else. When we do request for an added style, they require a high minimum. They combine all store orders and when those orders do not meet their production minimum, the style get's dropped. This happens to us pretty much every season.
They also produce a very limited quantity so if an item is "hot", they are not re-orderable within that season. It takes them 3-4 months to ship. Booking is 10 months in advance.
I am already working on the Basketball season order for next season. Football was done last October.
I can assure you Surfah, that we order what's available to us. So, when you see styles that's available in other schools and we do not have them, it's because they were not made available to us. Oh--great example? The current basketball team jersey--they were not made available to us neither the team's sideline outfits.
