        I'm suffering from Campaign, COVID and Trump Presidency fatigue. I can't wait for all of them to be over. Perhaps Trump's worst nickname for his foes is "Sleepy Joe Biden," which I'm sure he thinks is a clever slam, but honestly, I'd love to have a President who was working (or sleeping) quietly behind the scenes without a pathological need to be at the top of every news cycle. Sleepy? Sounds great to me.

          Yeah, perhaps Drumpf should use "Corrupt Joe Biden" or "Crony Joe Biden" instead.

                            Oh now I get it! Thanks for spelling it out for me. One degree of separation from unsourced and vague allegations of pedophilia is reason enough to stay away from Biden.

                                It's tightened up a bit over the last week in some of the contested states. As a reminder, to win Biden would need to hold onto all the states Clinton won last time which seems like a pretty safe bet as of right now, plus he would need to pick up 38 more electoral votes. The three Trump states from the list below where he has his biggest lead (PA, WI, MI) would be enough to do it even if Trump sweeps every other close state. Although as of today PA appears to have gone back into margin of error territory.

                                To compare to 2016, in the national polls Biden currently leads Trump by an average of 8.5 points. At this point in the election (13 days before) Clinton's average lead in national polls was 5.6. In the Real Clear Politics average of polls from six battleground states (FL, NC, AZ, PA, WI, MI) Biden's lead is 4 points over Trump. Clinton's lead 13 days out was 4.1 points. I'll look at these comparisons over the next few days because we're getting close to the point in the 2016 campaign where James Comey made his announcement about reopening the investigation into Clinton's emails. That happened 11 days before the election.
