But BlueK wasn't talking about "the electorate" in general.

LOL. Cowboy isn't an idiot. He is a BYU grad. I don't about Solon, however. Isn't that dude an Ute?

No, Cowboy is not an idiot. But I know someone who tries really hard to be one on the internet.

You are trying way too hard. But good job letting us know we should be offended by this.

I think the bigger issue today is that congress isn't wielding the power that is should and is relegating it to POTUS and SCOTUS. If congress has most of the power then you have the checks and balances needed to make sure people cooperate and work together and there isn't such a huge fight over the executive and judicial branches.
              nobody needs to watch that.

Is that the one where Satan plays one of the founding fathers? I have a vague recollection of him in an American Heritage video.

He plays Alexander Hamilton, no less. Brilliant casting. Too bad none of the freshmen got the joke.

                    • LOL... Apparently Biden's political director in Texas was witnessed participating in a ballot harvesting by two investigators, a former Houston police captain and a former FBI investigator. But massive voter fraud doesn't exist so this can't be true.

"I am currently involved in an investigation related to a wide-ranging and fraudulent ballot harvesting scheme in Harris County intended to rig the elections in the Houston/Harris County area. This scheme involves voter fraud on a massive scale.

"Based on interviews, review of documents, and other information, I have identified the individuals in charge of the ballot harvesting scheme. These individuals includes political consultant Dallas Jones who was recently hired by the Joe Bidea for President campaign to oversee their Harris County initiative. District 13 Texas State Senator Borris Miles, who is the handler of Mr. Jones, political consultant Gerald Womack, and Precinct 1 Harris County Commissioner Rodney EUis. One of the companies these individuals are using as a front for this operation is AB Canvassing, although there are others that have been identified that we are investigating.
"Another witness stated to me that an employee of Commission Ellis, Tyler James, has bragged that he could guarantee that the illegal ballot harvesting operation, with the help of mass mail-in ballots, could harvest 700,000 illegal ballots."

Honestly I don't think the political playing field needs to be evened out more than that nationally.

And I get that the electoral college is based on population, so it's not like elections are being outright stolen just because it has to go through a separate archaic process. It's just a lot of energy that candidates and parties have to expend on things other than winning the most votes, which really should be the only goal. But I'm also concerned that we might be seeing a trend, where a democrat has to win by a solid majority to ensure a narrow EC victory. And this could be reversed if the political fortunes change.

Look, the electoral college is not going away. I just think it's really showing it's age and we could do elections just fine without it. It's way down on my wishlist, way below term limits for SC justices and a parliamentary decmocracy!
So something that could can be achieved by a constitutional
ammendment is lower on your wish list than something that would require scrapping the entire Constitution?

It's on Amazon Prime. Apparently, Richard Dutcher (he of God's Army fame) also played a role.

interesting, wonder if it's the same mark aguirre who was fired by houston pd after he committed civil liberties violations en masse and tried to coerce and influence statements from fellow officers when he was being investigated by internal affairs for being a bonehead? who do you think would have an interest in the conclusions of his report? you're usually pretty skeptical, ted, but i wonder what party in this would be interested in hiring a dirty ex cop to get to these kinds of conclusions? maybe the best part is that his fucking wife notarized it
