Assuming you are referring to Iowa (.5), N. Carolina (.5), Florida (1.1), Arizona (2.8) and Ohio (3.3). If Trump takes all five of these tossups and loses PA (5.7), WI (5.5) and MI (5.2), he still loses by a score of 279-259. It's kind of a big deal that we're talking only about states that Trump won last time and that essentially none of the states that went blue last time are realistically in play, although some Republicans will try to argue Nevada is.Last edited by BlueK; 10-01-2020, 06:15 PM.

I am excited, but man that 2016 election has me rattled. Would love to see Trump get trounced."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/n...omfortable-wayWife of Boston Marathon hero said Biden touched her in 'an inappropriate and uncomfortable way'
The wife of a Massachusetts transit police officer who was injured in the manhunt for the Boston Marathon bombers accused Joe Biden of touching her inappropriately and making a suggestive comment in 2014.
In two Facebook posts, one of which has since been deleted, Kim Donohue alleged that during a remembrance ceremony in Boston, a year after the April 2013 deadly bombing, then-Vice President Biden began "rubbing" her lower back.
"Look at those eyes, where did you get those eyes?" Donohue wrote. "Anyone else as good looking as you in that family ... those eyes are mesmerizing, people must just do whatever you say."
In a separate post, this one made in July 2016, Donohue reiterated her claim that Biden "greeted me by rubbing my back in an inappropriate and uncomfortable way" then "pushed" her husband, Dic Donohue, who was shot in the leg by one of the Tsarnaev brothers, aside.
"Biden then asked if I wanted to ride in a car with him down to a ceremony we were all attending at the Marathon finish line," Donohue wrote. "He led me down a black hallway (Dic of course followed) and I got inside the most uncomfortable 3 person car ride I have ever been in."

Trump is being sued for rape, and for defaming an alleged rape victim by claiming he never met her despite photographs and a DNA sample.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View Post

Happened back in the 90's and she is just getting around to suing Drumpf now? Sounds like another timely accusation...Originally posted by LVAllen View PostTrump is being sued for rape, and for defaming an alleged rape victim by claiming he never met her despite photographs and a DNA sample.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/pol...september-2020Trump sees approval rating increase, majority expect him to beat Biden: poll
A poll conducted in the lead-up to Tuesday's presidential debate showed Americans giving President Trump his highest approval rating in months while a majority predicted he would defeat former Vice President Joe Biden in November.
[....]
Gallup reported that 56% of Americans believe the president will win in November. Only 40% said the same for Biden. In total, 90% of Republicans and 56% of independents predicted a Trump victory, compared to just 24% of Democrats.
Democrats appeared to be less confident in their nominee than Republicans were in their's, as 73% of the former thought Biden would win.
Trump famously beat former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton despite an onslaught of polls predicting the opposite.

I was referring to allegations by two different women Ted, but I can why you'd be confused. Dementia Don has so many sexual assault allegations against him, it's hard to keep them straight.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View PostHappened back in the 90's and she is just getting around to suing Drumpf now? See, the one who is actually suing him for rape was 13 when it occurred, so the Statute of Limitations didn't start to run. You can see why a teenager might be hesitant to come forward against Trump and buddy Epstein, though, right?
The second plaintiff isn't actually suing for rape. E. Jean Carroll wrote that Trump sexually assaulted her in the 90s. Trump, never one to keep his mouth shut, denied the claims in 2019. She's suing him for claiming she lied.

Polls of what people think will happen? They thought Hillary would win and they also thought the dems were going to lose in 2018. Not a great track record.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View PostNo, it's over for Drumpf... He might as well start packing for Florida.

I think Trump getting covid might deflate or de-energize his base just a bit. Or a lot.Last edited by BlueK; 10-02-2020, 07:59 AM.

Mike Lee and the president of Notre Dame have now tested positive for SARS-CoV-2. There's a video of Lee yukking it up and hugging people at the meeting with Amy Barrett, sans mask of course. And a bunch of other republicans doing the same.
What a complete and utter shit show. Someone a couple of days ago (Cowboy?) said they were scared to death of both Trump and Biden. I don't even understand this. Right now, there is one national party who marching in lockstep with their leader about COVID-19, eschewing even the simplest mitigation strategies. That is being broadcast to the nation at large. It is in no way an exaggeration that people are dying because of it.

Would definitely be karma if ACB gets Covid and it delays her nomination to the point it never gets through

Not only that, but Trump was openly mocking Biden during the debate about how much wears masks. Let that sink in, folks. The president of the United States of America was mocking people for wearing masks - in the middle of a global pandemic.
