    Nurses can be crazy AF.

I was jumping random AM stations, as I do sometimes, and landed on something that must've been Catholic radio - it was interesting, but I won't get into the topic of the show right now. However, during a news break they mentioned that the Catholic Bishop in the US had officially issued a letter stating that vaccination was in line with Catholic beliefs, the Pope was recommending that everyone get vaccinated, and that any priest providing a letter to parishioners to give them a religious out from getting vaccinated would be putting themselves in jeopardy of some sort of judgement from the church itself.

My wife used to work at an Elementary School in the office and would help during registration of new students. She always rolled her eyes at the people coming in who she knew were LDS and yet who claimed an immunization exemption on religious grounds.

Washington state just mandated vaccines for all healthcare workers. Thank you, Gov Inslee! Told my staff about it this morning. 1 of my opticians was almost in tears. Her stupid daughter has convinced her she could die from the vaccine. Considering she is over 50 and morbidly obese, I'm glad she will be required to get the vaccine, as COVID legitimately could take her out.

Why are the republicans passing legislation that disallows mask mandates? Aren’t laws against mask mandates as bad as mask mandates forma. Freedom perspective? I guess I’m just finding it weird they restrict the freedom of others through their legislation. Similar to restricting the teaching of CRT. Don’t restricted but let individuals decide if they want it taught.

Your post is kind of vague so I'm not sure what you mean. But these laws don't prohibit individuals from wearing masks. they prohibits cities, school districts, etc. from mandating them. Any individual can also send their kid to school with a mask. it does, however, violate the conservative value of local sovereignty.

You start by looking for a combination of quotes, definitions, court cases, the Bible, Internet websites, and so on that justify how you can ignore the disliked law without any legal consequences. Be imaginative. Pull a line from the 1215 version of the Magna Carta, a definition from a 1913 legal dictionary, a quote from a founding father or two, and put it in the blender with some official-sounding Supreme Court case excerpts you found on like-minded websites. Better yet, find someone else online who disliked that same law and pay them $150 for a three-ring binder filled with their word salad research.

I see you do not understand what local sovereignty means. It is not the same as the sovereign citizen movement.

Another idiot. I wasn't advocating for local anything. I was trying to understand his point. I am not in favor of giving much power to local yokels. Little as possible, actually.
