            Not according to some of the people in my Facebook feed. Cite the inflated numbers. Make math errors in your assertions of how minimal the overall impact is. Compare it to the seasonal flu or other modes of mortality. Some people are dumb.

                                        Conservative guy on twitter. He is not a MAGA, but he is a pretty interesting gadfly for the left. The first few weeks of the Biden presidency he was constantly posting how many people had died under Biden's watch. Liberal folks would lose their minds but he could usually go back and find an almost identical tweet from them counting COVID deaths under Trump's watch. Can't believe you don't know about him. Seems like just your style.

                                                            So are reporters intentionally using misleading numbers? Or do I not understand how this works? If 70% vaccination = herd immunity (or somewhere thereabouts) that can only be 70% of the population eligible to receive vaccinations (18+). That's roughly 209 million people. If 44.1 million people have been vaccinated with at least one dose, that's already north of 21%. Yet I'll be danged if I read that in any of the news.
