If that's the case, either he was able to access information he shouldn't have or someone leaked those documents to him.

Good lord. That's awful. He deserves to get locked up.

      • Seeing the defcon level on this board gives me a strange assurance that this will never happen.

        • You guys might find this funny. I've been cooking for the last couple of hours and I heard a lot of airplane traffic. I looked out the window once and saw some sort of small jet (we live near a Canadian Air Force base). It must have been about a dozen flyovers. Anyways I didn't know what was going on with Iran until my daughter called me. And then I put everything together. The Air Force here, such as it is, was apparently on red alert.

Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

It makes sense. Canada is part of NORAD

Funny watching the cognitive dissonance of the MAGA "no more asian wars" crowd.

I can’t think of any other reason. Jets were flying over our house. Like Frank said, it’s probably SOP with shared NORAD duties.

They are lapping it up. If Trump does it it is good.

Yes. Im not going to say I knew this would be the result of recent actions but it was a strong possibility. Iran is completely isolated regionally and it appears globally. Not even Hezbollah is willing to jump in. There can be debate about whether Israel has been too heavy handed since Oct 7, but there can be little doubt that their actions against Iranian proxies and now Iran has made all bad actors consider the potential consequences of piling on.

                        • Good Trump! Taking out Iran's nuclear facilities is long overdue.

                          Crazy mission for those B2's.

                          • If our involvement is limited to strategic bombings and those are effective, then this is a great strategy and execution by the administration. Something tells me it’ll get worse though…but at least oil prices are up!!

Yeah, that's card Iran is able to play. They can try to shut down the Strait of Hormuz, which their parliament has voted for. Things could get a little ugly if that happens.

I imagine that will have a bigger impact on the rest of the world, such as China, which might not go over so well. Russia might like it though.
