We should be tolerant of that?
I was referring specifically to a few on this board who aren't tolerant in general.

Trump's comment on Ukraine is stupid. On the flip side, I think Biden and Europe have done a poor job. If it were me I'd have put Ukraine in NATO, ratcheted up sanctions, sent every weapons system other than nuclear, and supported incursions into Russia. I'd also have lit a fire under the rest of Europe to do the same. I'd have spoken the two languages that Putin understands, money and firepower.

I'm a don't dick around with bullies guy. Punch them in the nose and hope they get the message. If they don't then beat the crap out of them until they do.

Other than thinking Trump's comment was simply stupid (It was much worse than that, probably calculated, and very damaging to any potential for a fair settlement), I strongly agree with your second sentence. And I remain very bummed by Obama's tepid response to Crimea and the incursion into the Donbas. I think a majority of Trump's supporters acknowledge he says lot of stupid things, but I believe many of those stupid statements have long-term negative implications for our country and the world. I sincerely hope I'm wrong.

Obama was pretty pitiful with Russia. I've consistently said that. But Trump straight rolled over for Putin.

This whole "150-year-old is receiving social security checks" is very simply to resolve/confirm. SSA is sending the checks or depositing them. Follow up with the people who own the accounts and charge them with fraud. That's like one hour work at most.

So why hasn't that happened? Because it's bullshit, total bullshit. Elon Musk is a liar and Trump is, well, Trump.
          Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I agree. Just a couple of days before he met with Zelinski and was speaking positively about their meeting. There has to be an angle.

There was a whole host of adults in the room during Trump’s first term, who thought they could keep Trump’s worst impulses at bay but resigned or were ultimately fired. And now you have GOP leaders going on Fox News imploring Trump to, if not do the right thing and publicly support Ukraine, just not turn reality on its head and parrot Putin talking points.

at some point it has to become clear what his angle is. Against all reason and 60 years of American history with USSR/Russia,he is a Putin shill. Occam’s razor and all that.

Maybe there really is a pee tape.

No one can argue that Trump isn't moving VERY fast on multiple fronts. Other than withdrawing from WHO (a very bad idea, but on brand), why hasn't he done anything about health care, something he has been promising for years?

Have a little patience, PAC. Infrastructure week isn’t over yet.

Because he doesn't actually care about it. The only thing he really cared about was that Obama's name was associated with the current law and he hated that. Now that they don't really call it Obama care anymore he doesn't care.

That reminds me. Trump never passed an infrastructure bill, despite saying that it was coming. Biden did and it has been great. Morons complain about the EV portion, but is a small part of it.

My guess is that in 2026 when it expires, there will be a continuing resolution because Trump can't get one together in the next year and a half.
