I think they are going for a robber baron led economy. Bring back the debtor prisons!

Yeah, I've posted about this before. I don't see this happening, but if it did, the main effects would be some or all of the following:

      1. Much more difficult for anyone with a FICO under 700 or so to get any credit card at all
      2. Rewards and benefits will be cut
      3. Sign-up bonuses and promo periods will be reduced
      3. Fees will explode. With Trump's win, the industry expects a much less aggressive CFPB. The CFPB has been very active on limiting fees, as evidenced by the $8 late fee limit that is currently being challenged. most expect the CFPB to stop fighting that, so late fees will be around the $30-$40 level if not higher. In addition, with a 10% interest rate cap you will see a LOT more cards with annual fees. If you want a card with strong benefits, you will have to pay for it. You will also see BT fees and cash advance fees go up a percentage point or two at many places, and maybe fewer cards with no foreign transaction fees

I think the best thing about Trump winning is the return of salty MBN on Twitter

What about foreign credit cards? Is there a way to play the market overseas? And does that even exist?

Maybe Russia has an emerging finance sector that could step up and fill a need

Good guy Elon Musk is trying to muck with the Onion buying Infowars. So glad someone is looking out for Alex Jones.

Trump's team are coming up with a list of current and former Military members to court Marshall. Let's not use the fascism word though

Matt Flynn, who is another nominee for the Trump admin and son of traitor Michael Flynn (the same Michael Flynn who was convicted and then pardoned by Trump and who urged him to use Marshall law to overturn the election) is helping compile it. They may bring charges of treason against some of them.

"The Trump transition team is compiling a list of senior current and former U.S. military officers who were directly involved in the withdrawal from Afghanistan and exploring whether they could be court-martialed for their involvement, according to a U.S. official and a person familiar with the plan.

Officials working on the transition are considering creating a commission to investigate the 2021 withdrawal from Afghanistan, including gathering information about who was directly involved in the decision-making for the military, how it was carried out, and whether the military leaders could be eligible for charges as serious as treason, the U.S. official and person with knowledge of the plan said.

“They’re taking it very seriously,” the person with knowledge of the plan said."

All of the officers were involved in the chaotic U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, which independent reviews have blamed on both the Trump and Biden administrations.

Do you think a jury of their peers will convict them?

At this rate they won't be tried by their peers.

                              5th ave Trump voter syndrome.

Trump was bffs with Epstein and new info came out but MAGA doesn't care.

A plot was uncovered that involved Russia planning to blow us civilian planes. Yet Trump and Musk are pressuring Ukraine to surrender.

A scheme involving influencers being paid millions of dollars to parrot Kremlin talking points was uncovered. Canadian intelligence reports that Tucker Carlson (no surprise there unless you wilfully daft or caught in the Trump worship vortex) and Jordan Peterson (also not surprised). Also, just a few days it was reported that a twitter user was paid 100 bucks for reposts or posts that helped Putin's agenda. Russia has posted after having 100s of influencers in their pocket in their own media.

None of that matters to MAGA.

Rarely has a general been court-marshalled.

Trump pardoned awful war criminals. He wants to punish people who put the constitution before him.

People who negotiated that deal should also be canned.
