the whole point is the possibilities from worst case scenario of deniers and denier apologists holding congress is a lot worse than dems continuing to hold it

Democratic house and and a slim republican senate majority would be great. Each side keeps the other from doing really stupid things.

          Sure.

I know it might be hard to tell at this point given all the straw men that have been thrown about, but my only point is I would not like to see one party control the White House and both houses of Congress.

If both parties had serious and capable leaders and membership , like the 90s maybe , 2000s. The current gop isn't willing to work with the otherside, period. -mitchell wouldn't even consider anything during Obama term. Even things the majority of Rs agree with

This is not to mention all the election deniers stuff now

Remember when the senate passed the gang pf 8 and the house speaker at the time wouldn't even debate it ? If you want anything done ever you need Ds in control

In normal times I might agree, but these are not normal times. One thing I have learned over the last 10 years or so is that I cannot trust Republicans to do the right thing, even when the right thing is obvious. Until I see a Republican Party that will completely reject fascism, I can’t vote for them. When a Republican is considered a moderate I don’t see them as the norm, but as a rare exception. Hell, Lindsey Graham was considered as principled at one time, only to cower in fear when the fascist heat is turned up. Cheney, Kinsinger, Romney, and maybe a few others are exceptions, but not nearly enough to sway me to trust that party.

The thing is, Donald Trump is not the reason the Republican Party has gone down hill. He’s a result of the party’s strategic direction established well before Trump came down the escalator. The only way that will change is if voters completely reject it. So, again, until I see a Republican Party that provides a better balance than fascism, I’ll give my vote to the other side.

Yeah fuck Republicans. They showed how much they are to be trusted a long time ago. John Boehner not bringing the Dream Act to a vote was just a prelude to Mitch McConnell's sketchy ass refusing to seat a replacement justice for Scalia.

You should subscribe to The Dispatch because you want rational news/articles, not to learn Allahpundit's identity, which is Nick Catoggio

He has a good opening article available on The Dispatch's free list:

                    Hello,

I’m Nick Catoggio, formerly known as Allahpundit and currently known as the newest staff writer at The Dispatch. I’ve spent almost 20 years as a writer in conservative media and many years more than that as a reader of it. I'd like to tell you a little more about why I'm here, what I plan to write and share a special offer to save $20 on a membership.
I’m here because too much of conservative media lies to its audience.
Sometimes it lies by commission. Mostly it lies by omission, through strenuous acts of gatekeeping. It justifies those lies by assuring itself that the other side’s media is worse.
I don’t think so. Not anymore.

No need to now. I've got his name!

I actually am thinking of subscribing.

Former President Trump once tried to pay a lawyer with a horse, New York Times reporter David Enrich revealed in his new book, according to The Guardian.

Trump offered the lawyer, whom he owed $2 million, the deed to a stallion, Enrich reported in “Servants of the Damned: Giant Law Firms, Donald Trump and the Corruption of Justice,” out next week.

Love the title. Great on a few levels.

Good. Probably the state charges, which Trump's farce of a pardon doesn't affect.

                                That is correct.
