Just for kicks I turned over to Fox to see what they were saying. It was non-stop spin from Hannity attacking Pelosi and Schumer over things in the days leading up to January 6. So disgraceful and shameful.

I find myself more and more disillusioned with the GOP - but I can't leave it. There are too many people I need to vote for in the GOP Primaries on a state level from election to election - and if I leave then I'm stuck with whoever the others pick.

It could be. I hope some of them are, to steal their phrase "waking up" and "opening their eyes."

Today's testimony from Ayers (sp?) who was one of the insurrectionists who plead guilty to disorderly conduct was powerful and idk how any R who listened to it could still support Trump. He said getting off all social media helped him see the light. He also testified that he had not intended to go to the Capitol on January 6, just to the rally, but Trump telling them to go, coupled with his anger, led him to march there. He also said had Trump tweeted sooner instructing everyone to leave, it may not have been as bad. Yep. He said Trump's tweet is the reason people started to leave.

Then at the close of the hearings today there was some statement about an anonymous witness who received a call from Trump. The witness did not take the call, reached out to their attonrey for advice, and the attorney contacted the commission. Liz Cheney made a statement about how witness intimidation.

Interesting how the commentator plays the clip from the moron Trump supporter but only mentions that they showed Alex Jones without actually playing what he said. I wonder why. It couldn't be because what he said sounded a lot like a call to violence, could it? Well, it did. Real convenient leaving that out.
