Never (unless we can find a technical solution). So his commitment to abortion is window dressing and based on this window dressing, they overlook some pretty egregious sins. Whereas a decent man like Romney gets pilloried because he is enough of a realist to acknowledge that abortion is a battleground that has already been conceded.
Would anybody, even the most diehard Trump fan, be surprised at all to find out Trump arranged for an abortion?

I would be totally surprised to find out Trump arranged for an abortion. Because that's singular.

      • A significant portion of Trump supporters are deplorable people.

Also Mike Pence is extremely corrupt just by his Trump enabling antics and lies. He is an archetypal hypocrite fake Christian, and in many ways worse than Trump. Trump is what he is. Pence acts devout, and in many ways has been but he suspends all that in his role as VP.

Feels like we are gonna have to make space for "deplorables" on this soon:

I disagree with pretty much everything in this post except the fact that Trump is what he is.

                • More of a random thought than germane to the thread, but without looking it up, I'm certain there has never been a U.S. President with a narrower range between high and low approval ratings over the course of his Presidency. Thanks to his immovable base, Trump probably has one of the highest approval rating floors of any President (Trump would likely lose fewer from his base if he shot someone in the face on Fifth Avenue than if he sought to impose restrictions on the gun he used). On the other hand, thanks to the sizable chunk of the electorate that won't acknowledge any positives from the Trump administration, he also has the lowest ceiling--I doubt there's anything Trump could do or say at this point that would change the minds of half the country about him being a despicable human. I admit to being in that half.

                      • OMG... It is true:

Even the USPS admits they are doing it!

                        Why would they do this?

                        Oh, Thanks Obama!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

                          • Trump says he will pardon someone ‘very, very important’ on Tuesday

President Trump on Monday night said he will pardon someone who is “very, very important” on Tuesday.

The president, making the declaration to reporters aboard Air Force One, didn’t identify who the person was, but ruled out his former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn and leaker Edward Snowden.

Trump on Saturday said he’d look “very strongly” at pardoning Snowden, who’s accused of espionage and theft of government property for leaking troves of National Security Agency information.

Meanwhile, in May, Trump said he was mulling a full pardon for Flynn, who pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI during an investigation into the 2016 presidential campaign.

I have no problem with that.

Turns out he will be pardoning Susan B. Anthony. Way to go out on a limb.
