    I'm no Trump fan either.

But I am mystified how anyone watched Biden speak, and talk with people, and just move around, and thought that he was cognitively sharp. I mean we could pull 100 different video clips from Democratic politicians, and from mainstream media companies, that threw that out there. I mean even the days leading up to The Debate. Schills.

It is the same way I look at Trump now. Pretty much every tweet, post, and press conference...he is FOS. No denying any of that.

That is something I've acknowledged more than once after being pretty resistant

There are precious few true conservatives on this board who will stand up and discuss the conservative or even Trump/MAGA side. I would love to hear someone not named Stephen Miller explain why they support Trump policies. Or Conservative policies.

Shaka doesn't have to participate in political discussions. But he likes to dart in and out without really saying anything. I find that frustrating.

I do feel badly about killing you though.
It's a bit of an echo chamber in there. I'm not going to respond to every post. Oftentimes, merely giving an opposing viewpoint in that thread triggers attack. It gets old. When views are presented and fleshed out they are oftentimes followed by whataboutism from the usual suspects. I'll accept my role but maybe you should turn that pointy finger back on yourself a little bit. Any Trump-related thread is a hostile environment.

I mean if fentanyl is the main culprit here, the least Trump could do is kill the right nationals. At least cocaine helps you get through the day!

I'm not necessarily looking for a response. But if there's a clearer vision to fight a drug war that stays within respected constitutional guardrails and actually does decrease drug use, I would love to hear the particulars.
I agree the money has been wasted, mostly because we pussyfoot around rather than taking the fight to the source. I include any illegal drug in my statement.

By nature, I'm a fighter. However, this year has been an interesting one as I worked through my anxiety thing that I detailed elsewhere. Flight has definitely entered the picture, although I'm getting some of my mojo back.

            • I'm not a doctor but I play a mental patient on TV so I can state that The Donald isn't anywhere near Biden's cognitive decline. You don't have to be a doctor to see that.

There are several years left in his presidency, so there's hope for you rooting for dementia to kick in. Then again, maybe you shouldn't because the Republicans will be smart enough to let JD take over. It's possible that this was the plan all along.

                I will do that. Thanks.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

                • Pete Hegseth is a terrible person. As someone who has worked with several vets and their trauma-related challenges, this really raises alarm bells. I can tell you the things that constitute hazing and bullying in the military.

That's on top of all his own allegations of sexual assault and physical abuse. He has been such a f*?k up already. I think he has the job still due to loyalty to Trump and his capacity for cruelty.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Tuesday called for a sweeping overhaul of how the military handles allegations of hazing and other types of abuse, insisting that the military had grown too soft and promising to expunge the records of tough leaders with past infractions.

In a memo to senior Pentagon leaders and combatant commands, Hegseth called on his top adviser on personnel issues to conduct a 30-day review of how the military defines hazing, bullying and harassment. He also called for a 45-day review of how long certain allegations stay on someone's personnel record.

"Department policy defining conduct by Service members that constitutes hazing, bullying, and harassment is overly broad, jeopardizing combat readiness, mission accomplishment, and trust in the organization," Hegseth wrote as part of series of new policy directives released Tuesday. "To maintain a lethal and ready Force, leaders must be empowered to make the right decisions, enforce standards, and restore good order and discipline."

Ha! He can say whatever he wants but at the end of the day they will allow for waivers if they can't meet recruiting goals.

Non of these cuts seem to be about saving money.
