Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Great, two idiotic ideas from one idiot.

Yeah, the markets fear Trump may actually try to fire the Fed Chair and put his own lackey in there.
      Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

      • Pete Hegseth rumored to be on the way out for incompetence. Who could have seen that coming?

Great, now that a "lamestream news media" outlet is reporting on what Trump going to do, he won't be able to prove them right and he'll be forced to keep Hegseth on for longer. My bet is Hegseth leaked this to NPR himself, in a desperate gambit to play Trumps ego against itself and stay on longer. Some serious 4-D chess is afoot in Washington right now. Well, except for the bit about leaking more sensitive info on the same app that you did previously.

It's all politics until a major terrorist attack, war, etc. Don't worry, some disasters are on their way. This administration is so bad it's going to be unavoidable.

Yeah, that would require him to think at least two steps ahead on this little scheme. Hegseth has trouble thinking one step ahead on anything.

I am sure this will be most people's opinion here, but my gut feeling when Hegseth was nominated was that he was going to be a disaster, and I was hoping that he wouldn't get confirmed. After he was, rooted for his success as that would be best for America, but unfortunately, this is looking pretty bad.

I honestly thought his active duty support people would hold his hand and it would work out in some way, not awesomely, but they would see him through it all. I wonder if he even listens to them. This whole Signal crap just pisses me off. The guy clearly isn't up to the job, but I suspect Trump will keep him around to avoid embarrassment.

It sounds like you are in the majority then.

They haven't reached a bilateral trade agreement. After two months of work (talks started in February),they've agreed on the meaning of words that might make it into a bilateral trade agreement. That's me and the wife agreeing that Google Maps is superior to Rand McNally's Atlas for navigation on our upcoming cross-country trip. We haven't actually gone anywhere yet.

Meanwhile, I fully expect the cost of all rice, but basmati and jasmine in particular, to skyrocket. Can't even survive on rice and beans anymore.
