I don't agree with what the Trump administration is doing in withholding the funds, but I'm not sure I totally agree with why Harvard is saying what they are saying. The government only has a say in what they teach or research to the extent they take money from the government. If they don't take the money, they can do whatever they want within the bounds of the law. So this feels a bit like grandstanding more than taking an actual stand. Of course, this is Harvard, where they have plenty of money in their endowment to fund whatever they want. I guess I'd be more sympathetic if it were a smaller private school that was having their funding pulled.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View Post
