    Let's recap

If someone disagrees with you on the ruling they are a fool

If someone argues trump would take advantage of a ruling saying he's immune for official acts they are delusional.

you are way too trusting of trump

Yeah, Grandpa Joe said last night that Trump was telling all those insurrectionists on Jan 6th to burn down the capital, string up Mike Pence, and to rape Nancy Pelosi! How can you trust a guy that does that?

I harbor no illusions that Trump will try to kill a rival and say he is immune, but I didn't think Trump would try to overthrow democracy either.
I think there is a lot of normally bias going on. Meaning something hasn't happened so it probably wont, so don't worry about it.

Roger Stone, who has helped Trump in his campaigns and has been an idea man, has caught on tape talking about killing members of congress. Trump heaps praise on dictators, because he admires them and wants to emulate them. His past is riddled with evidence of who he is. A lot of these criticisms aren't new but he has taken control of his narrative.

The bastard tried to overthrow the election and he instigated a coup that was one Mike Pence away from working. And thanks to SCOTUS, he'll get away with it.

Trump and his heritage foundation ilk have told us what they plan to do.

His daughter in law is now head on the RNC. Trump essentially is the GOP. Trump worshippers have taken up positions on various election boards and you can bet they will cause problems on his marching orders.

We should believe them by now. Trump consistently pushes boundaries until there is any pushback, and increasingly there is little. Most fascists come to power through legitimate or semi-legitimate means and destroy the apparatus to remove them or vote them out legally.

He will radicalize and politicize every government agency. He will utilize mass political appointments as one of the methods. Look up project 2025. They will continue to tear down the wall between state and religion. That isn't a good thing - for religion.

He plans on indemnifying the police. That would be a disaster on so many levels. This will instil loyalty.

He has stated he will seek revenge on his rivals through whatever means available. Throughout his life Trump has frequently talked about revenge, which is a hallmark of anti-social or criminal thinking.

Just because we have scandal-fatigue doesn't mean they aren't scandals.

All this against the backdrop of a world increasingly on fire. Europe's far right is surging at pace not seen since the WW2 era.

We are in for some shitty times. Depending on our wealth and status we may be more immune to feeling the impact of the shittiness for a while but it will eventually touch every American

Damn Frank. Here I was all full of anti-Biden rage yesterday, and now I’m wondering if need to fall in line and actively support the inanimate carbon rod.

still not going to donate money though!

You don't have to fall in line... you could always just vote for a 3rd party candidate like me.

I still don't believe Pence saved our democracy. The checks and balances would have held even if Pence folded.

Frank, I don't want Trump to be elected. His inability to deny election results (he full well knows are valid) is 100% disqualifying. But the other dangers he poses that you list here are also dangers posed by the left. It's funny you fear that "ge will radicalize and politicize every government agency. He will utilize mass political appointments as one of the methods"... I hate to break it to you, but this has also happened under Obama and Biden. This country is doing poorly because of Obama, Trump, and Biden (and GWB for his expansion of executive power and awful foreign policy but he wasn't a identitarian like the most recent 3). The far right is reactionary and is gaining power due to elite institutions and their corruption and hypocrisy. One feeds off the other. Pointing only to the far right as the problem is the very reason why they have so much oxygen.

No surprise you've bought into the MAGA spin. Among other deceptions you're promoting: that tweet shows a 1213 time stamp, but that's Pacific Time. He sent that tweet at 3:13 EST, long after his aides had been pleading with him to send a "no violence" tweet, and hours after telling his minions many times to go up to the Capitol and "fight like hell." Trump resolutely refused to say anything to calm the situation until long after the damage had been done and he slowly realized this was going to reflect very badly on him.
