One factor I think we can count on is the general ineptitude of the gawdless commies, conscripts or not.
This is the best quote of the entire war, as far as I'm concerned. From March 13th (or earlier):
"Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. His actions are supposed to reflect his ethical code.
The rest of us rarely bother to think about our actions." --Solon
What are folks' takes on gawdless commie retreat from Kherson?
Are the gawdless commies developing a strategy of massing their human cannon fodder conscripts on the front just to provide their real military time to develop in depth defenses behind the fodder line?
That makes this stuff a real war and shows a capacity to adapt that is not something the Russians have a reputation for.
Allegedly what the Ukrainians are doing to the crossing points as the Russians retreat:
Mesmerizing footage of several GRADs launching their rockets at the same time. Whoever was on the receiving end of this had a very bad day.
Both are worth watching with the volume turned up!

Just a reminder that the world could end at any second. It's just a kiss away. Let your loved ones know you love them. It never hurts.

The regional administration in Mykolaiv posted on the Telegram messaging app touting "lots of good news today".
It fuelled speculation on Thursday night that Ukrainian troops had reached the outskirts of Kherson itself, after cryptically posting a single letter - "ch" in Ukrainian.
This was taken as a possible clue that troops had reached the suburban village of Chornobayivka.

This video leaves me puzzled a little. It's from a pro-Russia channel and appears to show Ukrainians pinned down fighting Russians in a trench. A drone appears and drops grenades to little visible effect, but the music seems almost jubilant. I don't get it. It looks like nothing happened: https://t.me/i_see_you_8/171

Allegedly a Russian soldier, but someone at least, with a damned unexploded MORTAR ROUND INSIDE THEIR BODY! IN THE PHOTO, AT LEAST, THEY'RE STILL ALIVE!
