More the current Erdogan government than Turkey the country. Erdogan is up for election and it's thought there is a better than decent chance he could be voted out in favor of a centrist western leaning party. Let's hope it holds, but the trend toward extreme right anti-democracy types has lost a lot of steam with Russia's invasion of Ukraine and has made pro-Putin authoritarianism look pretty bad.
