What did he do of significance when he was president of the Harvard Law Review? What did he do of significance as a community organizer? What did he do of significance as a state senator? What did he do of significance as a US Senator? What did he do in any of those positions that would qualify him to be POTUS?Originally posted by old_gregg View Postif none of serving as president of the harvard law review, state senator, us senator, community organizer or secretary of state qualify a person to be potus, what in the world would?
I won't wait for an answer, as you had ample opportunity to do so, but have not done so."Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill

Went to the Trump rally last night. Quite the energy in the room. Trump knows how to bring the energy and for the first time in this race, I was surprised to actually believe that there is a significant chance that he could win the nomination. I thought he would fade, but he has not and I don't really see what would cause him to. He has made blunder after blunder after blunder and seems to be able to overcome them and actually gain momentum from them.
As scary as it is, I am deeply concerned that he might actually win. Now, not all would be horrible if he did, because it would be awesome to see him go after Hillary and blast her over and over and over, but that is about all the positive that could come from this.
All in all it was a good time people watching last night.

Everyone thought Howard Dean would win the nomination in 2004...until people actually started voting.Originally posted by imanihonjin View PostWent to the Trump rally last night. Really, I can think of 100 things I'd rather do than attend a political rally. Have my teeth drilled without anesthesia being one. Of course, I've already done that been there.Originally posted by imanihonjin View PostFor the experience. I would go out of sheer morbid curiosity. I really can't believe Trump believes any of the shit he says. He's just been in the reality tv game for long enough to know how to win this type of thing. "I tell you what- we'll be saying Merry Christmas again if I'm president!" Genius! Total social media bite sized right wing dipshit bait. He knows what he's doing and I imagine he'd take 2 giant steps to the left if he made it past the primaries and be a little less scary. I couldn't support him on principle, though.Originally posted by Topper View PostWhy would you do that?"I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando / Your man don't want it, Trump's a bitch!
