Knock it off. Sanders has probably forgotten more about foreign policy than Carson ever knew.

I don't remember Jindal being in.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

A lot of governors have been elected president, how much foreign policy experience do they have? Judgment and your ability to pick good advisors counts a lot more than how many intelligence briefings you've read.
Was it all that experience that caused Sanders to say that global warming led to the formation of ISIS? The guy's cocooned himself with a bunch of dumbasses that believe that kind of nonsense. You can't expect someone like that to wise up and pick competent people to help him manage.
Look at the idiot yes men in Obama's administration. A guy who drove a van for his campaign is on his national security counsel now.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

No, it's not. I know you love Sanders, blah blah blah, but he has no foreign policy plans. What has he ever said about it? His entire campaign has been to tax the wealthy 90% and free shit for everyone else because they shouldn't have to work for it.Originally posted by frank ryan View PostYes it is. It's worse than Palin's. I know you hate democrats, blah blah blah, but Carson's foreign policy idiocy is in a league of its own."Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill

So if Carson knew less than nothing, Sanders could have known nothing and forgotten it and still be ahead. They are both bozos.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostKnock it off. It has nothing to do with me loving Sanders and everything to with Carson being a dipshit when it comes to world affairs. You have plenty of other GOP candidates who have a strong grasp of the outside world. He isn't one of them.Originally posted by il Padrino Ute View PostNo, it's not. Carson thought China has soldiers in Syria and he was unaware that the Baltic republics are in NATO. Those are just a few examples. You aren't alarmed at all with his lack of basic knowledge?Originally posted by Color Me Badd Fan View PostA lot of governors have been elected president, how much foreign policy experience do they have? I'm not going to vote for Carson in the primary if he's still around, but I'd rather it be him than a doddering old fool like Sanders. I notice you didn't even address that Sanders has no foreign policy. If he has, what is it? I've not heard anything from him.Originally posted by frank ryan View PostIt has nothing to do with me loving Sanders and everything to with Carson being a dipshit when it comes to world affairs. As far as someone being a dipshit when it comes to world affairs, it's impossible to get anyone worse than the asshole who has been in the White House the past seven years.Last edited by il Padrino Ute; 11-17-2015, 11:48 PM."Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill

It's kind of like the Sarah Palin phenomenon. There is a certain segment of the populist wing of the the GOP that I think actually prefers someone who is an idiot. On the other side of the GOP populist movement you have Donald Trump whose supporters don't give a crap what he says as long as he sounds angry and powerful when he says it. Trump could proclaim our problems are caused by green men living on the moon and he'd get rousing cheers for that and move up in the polls. For his followers it's not what he says. It's just his attitude and the way he says it.Originally posted by frank ryan View PostIt has nothing to do with me loving Sanders and everything to with Carson being a dipshit when it comes to world affairs. Isn't populism to espouse what people popularly like or believe? The liberal wing of society believes in similar populism, look at Bernie Sanders. He says whacky things about economics which people living in bubbles want to believe.Originally posted by BlueK View PostIt's kind of like the Sarah Palin phenomenon.
