The jet ski guy is pretty funny. I saw another pic where there was one in the background of a reporter on the beach. I don't know if it was the same guy or not.

I don't know why they are chasing him. Let Darwin do his thing.

power is back on. It turns out that our neighborhood was really the only one in the neighborhood to lose power. A tree downed the main line and it was a relatively simple fix. A little over 12 hours before it was restored. Not bad, not bad at all.

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

As of right now, he's worth around $100 million. Correspondingly, he had invested heavily in green energy companies prior to their receipt of a cumulative total of $2.5 billion from Obama's stimulus.

Also, apparently the family of the Prime Minister of China is worth well over a $1 billion. Many in the upper reaches of that government are worth a helluva lot of coin. Membership has its privileges.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Al Gore said global warming would create hurricanes? Wow.

Were there hurricanes before humans existed? If so, I'd like Gore to explain why.

Gore made his money by ripping off gullible idiots. I can't say I really blame him for taking advantage of imbeciles, but if anyone is a shady bastard, it's him.
