I despise Pelosi with a passion, but she is undoubtedly one of the main reason's the DNC has held back the tide of populism (Bernie is 2016 and Bernie and his cosplayers, including Harris, in 2020) and the reason why they have made it a competitive race in 2024.
If Trump loses in November, I think the GOP could be taken back. Four straight losing elections shouldn't be tolerated. But there isn't a cut throat figure in the GOP now like Pelosi. Making heads roll is an almost impossible task from a figure outside the party leadership. Trump has exiled any threat. So it'll be Vance and Trump's kids (who control the party bureaucracy) vs who? Desantis wasn't ready last year. All I see are pantywaists. Maybe they'll have their act together by 2028.Comment
