That said, it was bad form for Elon to go public with this and claim his son is dead to him. This should have been kept private. Hopefully it can go back to that.

It's one of the wealthiest states in America, with residents of its fanciest zip code luxuriating in $3 million red-brick apartments.

But the writing is on the wall for Massachusetts, says an alarming new study.

The 50,000 non-legal migrants who've entered the state since Joe Biden became president are putting a costly strain on schools, healthcare, and other services.

Jessica Vaughan, author of the report for the Center for Immigration Studies, says the state is destined for bankruptcy.

That's because migrants will drain state coffers of a staggering $1.8 trillion over the next two years.

Even though some non-legal migrants will work and pay taxes, this revenue will not come close to the cost of social services for all 355,000 of them, says Vaughan.

'These migrants represent a looming fiscal disaster for taxpayers in Massachusetts,' Vaughan told the Mail.

'Even if they are working, they are not equipped with skills and education to avoid being a drain on public coffers.'

Her report comes amid a testy 2024 presidential race, with Republican nominee Donald Trump using immigration as a weapon against his rival, the Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris.

Republicans dub Harris a failed 'border czar,' as she was tasked with tackling the root causes of migration from Central America, even as illegal border crossings smashed records.

Still, the number of illegal entries has dropped in recent months to levels not seen since the Trump administration, and it remains unclear how the issue will drive voting in November.

Yes, I personally benefit from the lower cost of labor even if it has displaced a lot of the working class voters that use to vote for the democrats. Maybe that is why immigration is such a hot election issue. Much more than the state issue of abortion that the democrats think needs to be a federal issue.

Trump remains the favorite in 2024 presidential race despite Harris’ rise: Nate Silver

Even after Democrats dramatically moved to re-top their presidential ticket and got an apparent jolt of momentum, famed election analyst and statistical guru Nate Silver still deems former President Donald Trump the favorite.

His election forecast model gives Trump a 61.3% chance of prevailing in the Electoral College, while Vice President Kamala Harris is at 38.1%.

Silver previously pegged Trump with a 65.7% chance of victory over President Biden during his model rollout last month.

Harris was in a relationship with Willie Brown, her suoervisor, at the time that Brown promoted her. Brown was also 30 years older than her. None of this matters today because Donald Trump is the other nominee and his ethics are worse. If the nominee were Mitt then the fact that she was promoted under an unethical scenario would have more teeth. But it doesn’t, because of Trump.

That’s not a bad response. Both sides are playing this as a political football instead of wanting to fix the issue. It doesn’t clear her for absolutely failing on the border for three years but it shows that the GOP is just as bad in their refusal to pass the legislation once it was finally proposed.
