Biden's initial response to the question, wherein Biden asserts he has a much higher IQ than the questioner, then doubling down on the high IQ braggadocio at the end, going so far as to offering to challenge the reporter to compare IQs, with a string of blatant lies sandwiched in the middle, seems, well..., so very "Trumpy".

I am firmly on team both candidates die but I have been clear it needs to be of natural causes. Thank God trump was not killed as I think an assassination would tear the country apart. Sounds like trump's wounds may have been from teleprompter glass in which case that prompter probably saved his life. This is so insane.

Horrific for the bystander and his family (and really all of us). Glad the shooter is dead.

Agreed. He is not a good person but he has an opportunity here to lower the temperature.

From a purely realpolitik analysis if he plays the stateman here and tries to avoid divisiveness he will cruise to blowout of Biden (assuming Biden stays in).

Agreed. But I do find it interesting that your definition of bad seemed to be "insufferable" responses from trump allies on the right?

Everyone needs to shut up about this being the last election and democracy being at stake. On both sides. When both sides believe the other is going to take away all freedom, violence becomes justified and even righteous. And shocker of shockers here we are.

Trump is a garbage human being and I don't want him to be president again. But those concerns are secondary to me right now.

The election is over.

Doesn’t really matter if they replace Biden or not. By now, the story is that Democrats were so desperate to retain power that they openly lied to the public about President Biden’s capacity and hoped no one would notice. While Biden struggles to string sentences together, Trump literally takes bullets and doesn’t even change his schedule.

November will be an ugly month for Democrats.
